Goods under GSP+
Under the EU's GSP+ scheme, a broad range of products of Philippine origin is imported free of import duty. Examples are coconut products, processed food, electronic assemblies and garments. You need documents that prove the origin. The BV imports under Article 23 and keeps stock in the EU for short delivery times. It sells to customers as a local contract partner.
Selling services directly
Philippine outsourcing (BPO) and software development firms usually sell through foreign intermediaries. With your own Dutch BV, you sign contracts with EU clients directly. The BV sends EU invoices with reverse-charge VAT and signs the EU data processing agreements. See the article on Philippine BPO services.

For food brands and other consumer products, the BV handles labelling, GPSR and packaging EPR in its own name. For direct sales to consumers, you use OSS.

Setup from Manila
The BV can be 100% Philippine-owned, and you can set it up remotely. For the bank, prepare your file with the checklist. For a comparison with other Asian countries, see Asia-to-EU market entry.
