Passport copy, certified by a notary in Peru.
Proof of address in Peru, at most three months old.
Power of attorney. Sign the power of attorney (escritura pública) before a Peruvian notario. Have the notary’s signature certified by the Colegio de Notarios, and then apostilled by the ministry.

Good to know. People often forget the Colegio de Notarios step before the ministry.
If a company from Peru becomes a shareholder
Register extract, at most three months old: Sunarp, the public registry. Order a certificate of current standing (certificado de vigencia) and a copy of the registration entry showing the legal representative. The partners are listed in the incorporation deed. Plus articles, signing authority and ownership chart.
Trade between Peru and the EU
In 2025 the European Union (EU) and Peru traded goods worth €13.9 billion, with a surplus of €5.1 billion for Peru. The EU was Peru's third-largest trading partner that year, with 10.6% of Peruvian trade.
Vegetable products (37.2%) and mineral products (29.9%) were the largest EU imports from Peru in 2025, followed by foodstuffs, beverages and tobacco (12.3%). Machinery and appliances made up 35% of EU exports to Peru that year, and chemical products 19.1%.
The EU is the first foreign investor in Peru. EU foreign direct investment stocks there rose from €12.9 billion in 2015 to €14.9 billion in 2020.
The EU trade agreement with Peru has applied since 1 March 2013. It was signed in June 2012 together with Colombia, and Ecuador joined on 1 January 2017.
