If a company from Luxembourg becomes a shareholder
Register extract, at most three months old: Luxembourg Business Registers (RCS). Order an extract and, where needed, a certified copy of the articles. The RCS extract is issued electronically. Plus articles, signing authority and ownership chart.
Luxembourg: business register and trade
Since 2003, Luxembourg's Trade and Companies Register has operated under the authority of the Minister for Justice, with management entrusted to the economic interest grouping Luxembourg Business Registers. Its digitisation was completed in 2007.
Filed documents are free of charge on the website after a login, with an optional personal account. Deeds are published in the Electronic Compendium of Companies and Associations (RESA) within 15 days of filing, usually on the same day.
Extracts, certificates and certified copies issued by the register administrator are subject to a fee. Extracts and certificates are ordered on the website through the services offered menu, and a certified copy by ticking the 'certified' box next to the filed document.
In 2023, 4.7% of Luxembourg's goods imports came from the Netherlands, up from 3.5% in 2015. In the same year, Luxembourg sent 6.7% of its goods exports to the Netherlands.
